BEGINNERS CLASSES – GET STARTED NOW !!

LEARN TO DANCE

GET UP.  GET OUT.  GET GOING!

Do you enjoy meeting new people.  Come try out our Monday night adult beginners class at 7 pm.

Learn Latin,  Ballroom,  New Vogue and  Salsa !!

A great way to get out and have fun at the same time.  There are several different beginners classes that might suit you held during the week.

Adult beginners classes are available on the following days and times:

  • General adult beginners class with a focus on latin dance but including some introductory ballroom technique.   Monday evening from 7pm.  As you progress stay around for the more advanced classes held immediately afterwards.  Whether you want to learn a few dance moves for those occasions,  or want to add some exercise and social activities to your life, or you want to progress  to more advanced classes and competitive work,  this would be the place to  get started.
  • Wednesday  afternoon seniors at Yarrunga Community Centre from 1.30 – 3 pm,  socialise and get fit at the same time.
  • Wednesday evenings beginners and social dancing at 7.15 for any interested person wanting to get started and learn some basic moves or if you want to brush up on what you already know or have learned .  A good night for couples but singles also welcome.

No previous experience is necessary for any of these classes,  and no special equipment or shoes needed.   Leather or firm soles are better than the soft rubber soles of runners that tend to stick to the floor.

If none of these suit,  contact us to find out what else we have going.  Private instruction is also available for any dance style if you’d prefer to learn a dance step one on one rather than in a group,   or if there is something specific you might want to learn.
