Viva La Dance has been associated with many local schools in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
Both primary and secondary schools have experienced the fundamentals of Latin and Ballroom dancing instruction developed through music and sport programs.
Benefits include the social development of boys and girls mixing together, improved physical co-ordination, and the development of musical appreciation through timing, counting and rhythm. And ultimately, dancing can be just plain good healthy fun.
Some of the local participating schools have included: Dorset Primary, Ruskin Park Primary, Warranwood Primary, Warrandyte Primary, Mooroolbark East Primary, Rolling Hills Primary, St. Bridgets Primary Greythorn, Mooroolbark Secondary College, Box Hill High, Luther College, Croydon Secondary, Monbulk Secondary, and Upwey High School.
